micro1 is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Legal Research for a remote full-time role. This position focuses on building rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI-powered legal reasoning, legal workflows, enterprise AI systems, and complex legal task benchmarking.
Responsibilities
Design and improve evaluation frameworks for legal AI agents, create benchmark suites and scoring methodologies, conduct research on legal reasoning and statutory interpretation, curate legal datasets and case studies, collaborate with AI researchers and engineers, analyze model performance and failure modes, and publish internal research findings and best practices.

Requirements
Advanced degree in Law such as JD, LLM, SJD, PhD in Law, or equivalent. Strong expertise in legal research, legal analysis, corporate law, contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, public policy, legal technology, analytical reasoning, and written communication is required.
