micro1 is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Medical Research for a remote full-time role. This position focuses on advancing AI systems that support healthcare, clinical, and biomedical workflows through rigorous evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, and medical reasoning research.
Responsibilities
Design evaluation frameworks for healthcare AI systems, create benchmarks and scoring methodologies, conduct research on medical reasoning and evidence-based decision making, develop benchmark datasets, collaborate with clinicians and engineers, analyze AI performance and safety, and produce research reports and best-practice guidelines.

Advanced degree in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related healthcare field. Strong experience in medical or healthcare research, evidence evaluation, clinical workflows, healthcare analytics, analytical reasoning, and scientific communication is required.
